For a pie with firmer fruit filling and a bottom crust more "crusty" do this. In a saucepan put 2
cups blueberries...3/4 cup Sugar....1 tsp cinnamon...1 tsp lemon juice....3 tbsp tapioca...1 tbsp butter....1peeled and grated
granny smith apple or similar texture. Cook on medium heat until berries "pop" use a masher to smash. Continue
cooking and stirring until mixture is thickened. Then add 2-3 more cups of freah berries and scoop into a pie shell evenly
distributing the freah berries in the mix and cover with a top shell cutting vents and cook at 425 degrees bottom rack for
20 minutes, then at 350 degrees for an additional 20 minutes until you see some bubbling. Wait until fully cooled to
cut and enjoy.
